The student meeting is the highest decision making body of the union. All students of Goldsmiths are entitled to speak and put motions forward.
A motion is a document submitted to a Student Meeting to have something changed or done. A Motion should relate to one topic. You can collect motion forms from the SU offices. The Sabbatical Officers can offer advice on how to write and put forward a motion.
The Student Meeting is where the most influence can be made: Through debate and a vote this meeting decides the direction of a motion, and thus the direction of the Students' Union.
The first Student Meeting in 2008 is on WEDNESDAY 20th FEBRUARY 2008
